He earned the honors of playing for the Davis Cup team for 20 straight years and of competing in Wimbledon for 17 straight years. Among the top players Vijay Amritaj defeated are Jimmy Connors, John McEnroe, Ivan Lendl, John Newcombe, and Stan Smith.

Vijay Amritaj’s life has been a series of firsts and triumphs in new fields of endeavor. A very successful businessman, Vijay Amritaj has been at the forefront of the global business boom in India.
